Robert B. Handelman
Attorney Robert Handelman has practiced law in central Ohio since 1976. He is a founder of the former Calig and Handelman Law Firm which had provided legal services throughout central Ohio for more than 20 years. He is a graduate of Franklin and Marshall College and obtained his JD Degree from the Cleveland Marshall College of Law. Mr. Handelman is certified as a Civil Law Mediator by the National Judicial College, and has served as a mediator for the Licking County Court. Attorney Handelman provides legal representation primarily to individuals and families as well as small businesses.

Mr. Handelman has been involved in the Newark and Licking County community in a number of volunteer, service, and leadership capacities. Currently Robert serves as President of the Midland Theatre Board and Co-Chair of the Licking County Board of Realtors Legislative Committee. He has previously served as President/Chairman of the Newark Downtown Association, Newark Kiwanis, Newark Alliance, Newark Tree Commission and BSA Troop 8, member and past President of the Licking County Bar Association, past Trustee of The Ohio Academy of Trial Lawyers (now the Ohio Association of Justice), and past member and President of Newark City School Board and C-TEC of Licking County.

Philip D. Wince, Associate Attorney
Attorney Philip Wince has practiced law since 1976 with a focus on real estate development, employment law, corporate law, personal injury, product liability, domestic law, franchise law and small business ventures. Before going into private practice, Mr. Wince served as Assistant General Counsel at Wendy’s International, Inc. Mr. Wince is a graduate of Denison University and obtained his JD Degree from the University of Cincinnati.

In addition, Mr. Wince was the prior managing member of A-1 Developers, LLC, President of Wince Systems, Inc., Co-Founder of Spectrum Vision Centers and former managing member of Josie’s Frozen Yogurt Stores in Ohio. He served in the United States Army Hospital 2291st U.S. Army Hospital as a Medic from 1970-1976. Professional affiliations included Oho Trial Lawyers Association, American, Ohio and Licking County Bar Associations.

Mr. Wince is an avid golfer and enjoyed coaching football, basketball and golf at Newark Catholic High School.
